If you would like to get involved in building the St Ayles, we usually have a build going on and welcome volunteers at the Zaznak Workshop on the Good Soil Project site.
Contact Zaznak for more information.
The St Ayles Skiff
Zaznak is funded mainly through grants and sponsorship. Our first St Ayles Skiffs have been funded by Awards For All and others including Top Barn Trust. We are keen to receive the support of sponsors and commercial organisations. If you can help, please contact Zaznak.
COSTS & FUNDRAISING
The St Ayles Skiff is a traditional coastal rowing skiff of four oars and a cox. Each boat is hand built by volunteers from Zaznak's members and the community of the Good Soil Project at Top Barn Farm in Worcestershire.
Since the kit was first designed in 2009 Jordan Boats have supplied over 200 St Ayles to communities in Scotland and around the world. After building our own, Zaznak aim to continue building the St Ayles in support of inland communities around England and Wales.
